Horse Park
In the state of Texas alone, over one million horses have an economic impact on the state of over $995 million dollars annually. Texas, which is known for its cowboy lore and horses, has one of the largest populations of horses in the United States. Our mission will be to promote and educate the public on horses of all types and disciplines. An education for the senses! Here they will be able to see, hear, touch, learn, smell and even taste (if they really want to, but not recommended) these magnificent and mystically creatures that seem to mesmerize people, like no other animal in history. The majestic grace and fluid movement of these awesome creatures will be right in front of them. Even if they don't own a horse, they will be able to experience the horse, and all the different cultures that are part of them. The Horse Park will be multi-dimensional educational and cultural facility that explores all aspects of the Texas Horse.
Housing full time, full care stables, with plenty pastures for the horses to enjoy thier leisure time under the shade of a South Texas tree. Private fully contained stable area will be restricted to members only. Our TRHC ranch manager will live on the property, maintain the horses, and pastures. In the future, the facilities will be open six days a week for the rental horses and temporary stalls for visitors to enjoy and learn about a total Texas experience, in the unrestricted area. The three large arenas will be used by both English and Western enthusiasts alike with enough room for several groups. We are looking forward to the possibility of English Dressage, Polo, Lacrosse Polo, and other equestrian teams at the facilities, as well.
The middle of the week will be set strictly aside for the Hippo-therapy, Equine Assisted Activities, and Equine Facilitated Learning in one of the covered arenas unobstructed. The areas can be enjoyed by all private, educational, cultural, and public groups. In the future, we plan to have several miles of horse trails, clinics, events, seminars, and in-house training for all to learn and enjoy.
