Texas Ranching Heritage CenterTM

Cowboys and ranching in Texas, the aura of romance from the past, lingers even today. Nowhere is the notion stronger than in Texas where legendary, mystic figures by a campfire have developed and fathered a nation of hard working souls.

There is a little cowboy or cowgirl in all of us, from cowboys and indians, riding off to a faraway land on your hobby horse, and taming that wild stallion. We all have dreamed of being a cowboy or cowgirl at sometime in our life. Now you can expereince it.

The tradition lives on!

The Heritage Center will also be a multidimensional education and cultural facility that will explore all aspects of Texas Farming and Ranching. This will be both an authentic and educational historical facility with authentic buildings, outbuildings, gins, pens, fencing, corrals, railcars, line camps, bunkhouses, cattle cars, windmills, equipment, and artifacts from Texas Ranches and Farms. Architectural exhibits from historical Texas ranches and farms with authentic furnishings and artifacts restored to represent original homes and facilities will make up the Ranching Center. In addition, several areas are planned for leasing to large or small gatherings inside and out using the TRHC facilities as a backdrop for their event.

Area schools, businesses, and Universities are encouraged to use the facilities for multidimensional educational demonstrations, hands on learning, workshops, and research. Individuals are welcome to use the facilities for their future gatherings and private parties.

Several planned seasonal events will be featured in the TRHC area each year for the community involvement, fundraising, and education, such as Spring Roundup in March, Harvest Ball in the Fall, Barn Raising during the Summer, and Christmas at the Ranch, just to name a few.

This will be your Texas Ranching Heritage Center and Horse Park, Inc. preserving the past, present and future of the Texas ranch, farm, and the hard working horse.
